This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening across
northern lower Michigan. Severe weather is not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Gale force wind gusts are likely Wednesday on portions of Lake
Michigan and Lake Huron nearshore waters. Please see the latest
marine headlines and forecasts for additional details.

Minor lakeshore flooding is expected along much of the Lake
Michigan shoreline of northwest lower Michigan Wednesday. Please
see the latest lakeshore flood advisory for additional details.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.

The National Weather Service in Gaylord has issued a LAKESHORE
FLOOD ADVISORY, which is in effect from 5 AM to 8 PM EDT

* LAKE SHORE FLOODING...Gusty northwest to north winds Wednesday
  will generate waves of 5 to 10 feet along the Lake Michigan
  shoreline. Locally higher waves are possible. Waves of this size
  will be capable of producing minor lakeshore flooding.

* TIMING...From early Wednesday morning through early Wednesday

* IMPACTS...High winds and waves will generate some beach
  flooding and erosion.


A Lakeshore Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds will
generate flooding of low areas along the lakeshore.
