This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected tonight, some could be
strong to severe, especially later tonight. Gusty winds and large
hail will be the primary severe weather concerns.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms remain possible Saturday, some could be
strong to severe, especially early Saturday.

Dangerously hot and muggy weather is expected Saturday through
Monday. Please see the latest heat advisory for additional
details.

Dangerous swim conditions are expected on some beaches of northern
Lake Michigan. Please see the latest beach hazard statement for
additional details.

Additional chances for thunderstorms are expected at various times
Monday night through Friday.

...HEAT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM NOON SATURDAY TO 8 PM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...High temperatures around 90 Saturday, increasing to the
  lower and middle 90s Sunday. Low temperatures will only drop into
  the 70s Saturday night. Combination of heat and humidity will
  result in heat indices of 95 to 100 degrees, especially during the
  afternoon Sunday.

* WHERE...Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From noon Saturday to 8 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat
  illnesses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and
heat stroke.

To reduce risk during outdoor work, the Occupational Safety and
Health Administration recommends scheduling frequent rest breaks in
shaded or air conditioned environments. Anyone overcome by heat
should be moved to a cool and shaded location. Heat stroke is an
