...FREEZE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 8 AM EDT
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures as low as 28 expected.

* WHERE...Kalkaska, Crawford, Oscoda, Manistee, Wexford,
  Missaukee, Roscommon and Ogemaw Counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 8 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Frost and freeze conditions can damage crops and other
  sensitive vegetation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent
freezing and possible bursting of outdoor water pipes they should
be wrapped, drained, or allowed to drip slowly. Those that have
in-ground sprinkler systems should drain them and cover above-
ground pipes to protect them from freezing.

This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Temperatures will again drop to or below freezing across portions of
Northern Lower Michigan tonight. Please see ongoing Frost and Freeze
headlines for further details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Patchy frost is possible again Thursday night, especially across
the typically cooler locations of interior Northern Lower Michigan.
