This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Ongoing flooding will continue across many parts of northern
Michigan through tonight and beyond. Please see the latest Flood
Watches and Warnings for the latest information.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible at times through
tonight. Severe storms are not expected at this time.

Areas of dense fog will continue into the morning across eastern
upper Michigan. Please see the latest dense fog advisory for the
latest information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Ongoing flooding is expected to continue across parts of northern
Michigan over the next several days as water levels slowly come
down. Please see the latest Flood Watches and Warnings for more
information.

Additional showers and storms will be possible again Friday night
into Saturday.

Patches of dense fog will linger across much of northern Michigan
through this morning, especially across areas near bodies of water
and recent rainfall. Visibilities of 1/4 mile or less are being
observed. Given quick drops in visibility, be sure to take the
proper precautions while driving this morning.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by recent rain and snowmelt is occurring.

* WHERE...A portion of northern Michigan, including the following
  counties, Antrim, Benzie, Crawford, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska,
  Leelanau, Manistee, Missaukee, Roscommon and Wexford.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding is occurring following recent heavy rainfall
  and snowmelt.
  Roads and structures near lakes and rivers will continue to see high
  water levels and potential wash outs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 239 AM EDT, ongoing flooding is being experienced across
    the area and will likely continue for the next several days.
    Between 4 and 9 inches of rain have fallen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
