* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of basements of
  businesses in North Lansing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening to a crest of 12.4 feet Saturday morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage early Monday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    12.5 feet on 06/29/1968.

  - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this morning to a crest of 8.7 feet early Saturday
    morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.6 feet on 05/14/1956.

  adjacent to the river, in the Lansing Municipal Golf Course and
  sections of East Mt. Hope Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 6.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:00 AM EDT Thursday was 8.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early tomorrow afternoon and continue falling to 5.4 feet
    Thursday, April 23.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

morning which will impact this morning`s commute.

Strong to severe storms will be possible this evening into early
tomorrow. Damaging winds and large hail are the main threat

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
