...FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO
11 AM EDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Sub-freezing temperatures in the mid 20s expected both
  tonight and Wednesday nights. Slightly warmer temperatures
  possible along the Lake Michigan shoreline, mainly on Wednesday
  night.

* WHERE...Much of Western Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From 8 PM tonight to 11 AM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Widespread freeze conditions will damage budding
  fruit trees and other sensitive vegetation. Crop losses
  possible. Cold temperatures could damage unprotected outdoor
  plumbing.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Mixed light rain and snow is expected south of I-96 this afternoon
and it change so wet snow this evening. Snow is expected early
tonight south of I-96 with the greatest accumulations near I-69
were 2 to 4 inches are possible. While the snow will mostly melt
on the roads, after dark, when it is snowing hardest, near I-69
the snow will likely result in slushy roads for a few hours.

All areas will see temperatures fall into the 20s tonight. This
may damage to budding fruit trees and other sensitive vegetation
tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Nighttime temperatures are also expected to drop into the 20s across
most of West Michigan Wednesday nights. The cold temperatures may
damage budding fruit trees and other sensitive vegetation. Cold
temperatures may also damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.

Spotter activation will not be needed.
