...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EST THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 1 to 2 inches.
  Highest additional amounts through early evening will be south
  and east of a line from Kalamazoo to Lansing . Storm total
  accumulations in the advisory area of 4 to 8 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central and southwest
  Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the evening commute, particularly for
  the I-69 area and east from there where the snow will persist
  the longest.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...So far snow amounts have ranged from 4 to
  6 inches across most of the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Even treated roads may have slick spots. Allow extra time and
drive accordingly.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

The widespread snow south and east of Grand Rapids will end from
northwest to southeast this afternoon and early evening. However the
evening commute will still be impacted, particularly for areas near
and east of a Kalamazoo to Lansing line including I-69.

Intense, but localized, lake effect snow will impact the Lake
Michigan shoreline tonight. Expect whiteouts and snowfall rates up
to 2 inches per hour around South Haven and also around Ludington.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Lake effect snow showers will continue into Tuesday evening before
diminishing. This will impact area mostly near and west of US-131.
Some areas could see over a foot of snow from these lake effect
snow bands.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
