This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog will lift by mid morning.

There is a significant heavy rain threat this afternoon, mostly
south of I-96. Showers and embedded thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall may result in areas of localized flooding. Severe
thunderstorms are not expected today but some thunderstorm, beside
the heavy rain threat may have gusty winds.

Outside of the heavy rain threat area expect scattered showers and
a few thunderstorms. Some storms may have gusty winds and frequent
cloud to ground lightning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A strong storm system, moving through the Great Lakes early next
week could bring strong thunderstorms and strong gusty winds not
related to the thunderstorms later Monday into Tuesday.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
