This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Lake effect snow showers will continue into tonight.   Blowing snow
could occur as well as winds gust over 30 mph at times.  The
combination of falling snow and blowing snow could cause pockets of
very low visibility.  Drifting snow could lead to impacts mainly on
north/south roads.  Sub zero wind chills will continue into Tuesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Periods of lake effect snow will continue into Tuesday. In
addition sub zero wind chills can be expected.

...Low Visibilities and Slick Conditions Possible This Afternoon...

Bands of lake effect snow were streaming inland off of Lake Michigan.
Gusty west winds, over 30 mph at times, were also leading to blowing
snow. The combination of these two were causing pockets of very low
visibility that were dipping down under a half mile in few spots.

Also, north/south roads could see drifting that may lead to hazardous
travel conditions.

Motorists should be alert for sudden changes to the visibility and be
prepared for locally slick travel through the evening commute.
