...EXTREMELY HEAVY RAIN SHOWERS WILL AFFECT PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN
LOWER MICHIGAN OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS...

At 510 PM EDT, numerous showers with a few embedded thunderstorms
are producing very heavy rain and significantly reduced visibilities
across the area. Drivers during the evening rush hour should slow
down during heavy rain and be aware of ponded water on roads and
localized flooding.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered thunderstorms with locally heavy rain will continue late
this afternoon into the early evening hours...mainly to the
southeast of a Holland to Alma line.  Urban and poor drainage
flooding could accompany the strongest cells.  No
severe weather is expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

There is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday through Saturday. A
marginal risk for severe weather exists Thursday.  A slight risk for
flooding exists on Thursday.
From Thursday into the weekend expect very hot afternoon
temperatures with highs well up into the 90s and it will also be
humid. Heat index values may exceeding 100 degrees each day.
Overnight heat index values may not fall under 75 degrees for parts
of the area.
