.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Winds turn more north to north-northwest tonight allowing lake effect
snow showers to clip the eastern Thumb. Accumulations of 1 to 2
inches are possible with locally higher amounts near the lakeshore
particularly if heavier snow bands manage to make it onshore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A clipper system arrives in the Great Lakes Wednesday-Wednesday
night. Light snow showers or freezing drizzle is possible Wednesday
morning. Better accumulating snow chances arrive late day into the
overnight along an arctic cold front. Only minor accumulations of an
inch or so expected at this time.

Strong winds will usher in another round of arctic air Wednesday
into Thursday. There is a chance that wind gusts may exceed 45 MPH
Wednesday night and Thursday. Wind chills Wednesday night likely fall
into the single digits and only climb into the teens daytime
Thursday.
