This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southeast

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A heat advisory remains in effect through 10 PM for the Detroit
urban heat island. Please refer to the latest urgent weather message
for details.

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are forecast this afternoon and
tonight. The strongest storms will be capable of producing wind
gusts of 40 to 50 MPH this afternoon as activity moves east at around
35 mph. Widespread likely rainfall expected into tonight with the
next wave along with a slower west to east storm motion in the 10 to
20 mph range. There is a risk of torrential rainfall and localized
flooding with any thunderstorm that develops this afternoon and

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Occasional showers and thunderstorms will occur Monday into Monday
night. Heavy rainfall and flooding will be a concern with these
showers and thunderstorms.


Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
