This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A low pressure system will bring two rounds of precipitation to
the area through tonight. Rain, snow, and freezing rain will
continue into this afternoon. Heavy snowfall and strong winds are
possible tonight with the second event. Gusty offshore winds may
lead to some minor lakeshore flooding along the Superior
shoreline. See the latest winter weather advisory, winter storm
watch and lakeshore flood advisory for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A low pressure system will bring the second round of precipitation
to the area early Saturday. Heavy snowfall and strong winds are
possible into early Saturday. Gusty offshore winds may lead to
some minor lakeshore flooding along the Superior shoreline. See
the latest winter storm watch for additional details.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

The need for weather spotter reports is not anticipated at this
time.

/10 AM CDT/ THIS MORNING...
...WINTER STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, mixed precipitation.
  Additional snow accumulations of up to 3 inches and ice
  accumulations of around one tenth of an inch through this
  morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, heavy mixed precipitation
  possible. Total snow accumulations in excesss of 6 inches and
  ice accumulations of a light glaze possible with the heavy snow
  tonight. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph, especially near
  Lake Superior.

* WHERE...Luce, Menominee, Delta, Southern Schoolcraft and
  Northern Schoolcraft Counties.

* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 11 AM EDT /10 AM
  CDT/ this morning. For the Winter Storm Watch, from late
  tonight through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy blowing snow
  could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions
  could impact multiple morning and evening commutes through
  Saturday.
