Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Duluth MN 444 PM CDT Fri Jul 26 2024 MNZ010-011-018-025-026-033-272145- Koochiching-North St. Louis-North Itasca-North Cass-South Itasca- South Cass- 444 PM CDT Fri Jul 26 2024 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast Minnesota. .DAY ONE...Tonight There is a 30 to 60 percent chance for thunderstorms across mainly Koochiching County tonight. Isolated strong to severe storms capable of producing damaging wind gusts to 60 mph and large hail to 1 inch in diameter are possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday Thunderstorm chances will persist through Monday. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible Saturday and Sunday afternoon and evenings. Hail up to 1 inch in diameter and damaging wind gusts up to 60 mph are the main threats. A tornado can`t be ruled out Saturday. Heavy rain is possible for areas north and west of the Iron Range,especially Sunday afternoon through mid day Monday. Some flooding and flash flooding may be possible. Hot and muggy conditions are forecast Saturday and Sunday. Heat indices will climb into the low to middle 90s. Heat Advisories maybe needed.
