tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Expect dangerous wind chills 40 below to 55 below Monday morning
through Tuesday morning. The lowest values will be in the
overnight and morning periods. Very cold wind chills may linger
through Thursday.

...EXTREME COLD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON CST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills 40 to 50 below expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, north central, northwest, and west
  central Minnesota and northeast and southeast North Dakota.

* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to noon CST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 50 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.
  Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is
  exposed to these temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If spending time outside, dress appropriately by covering as much
exposed skin as possible. Dress in layers. Wear a face mask and warm
gloves, hat, socks and boots. Take frequent breaks from being
outside to warm up.

If traveling make sure you have a winter survival kit.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.
