This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

High water levels continue in the Rainy River Basin over far
northern Minnesota, with minor flooding along the Mississippi
River near Aitkin. Flood Warnings remain in effect for these

Patchy fog tonight could lead to reduced visibilities for
the early Thursday morning commute. Especially for areas near Lake

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Water levels will remain high across many of the Northland`s
rivers, creeks, and streams, especially in the Rainy River Basin
and the Mississippi River Basin.

There will be periodic chances for thunderstorms this weekend
into next week. Some severe storms will be possible, mainly from
Sunday through Tuesday. Heavy rainfall will also be possible.


Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated this afternoon or
tonight. Rainfall amounts from spotters and the public are
