This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Fire weather conditions are approaching near critical levels, so
issued a Special Weather Statement highlighting the increased
fire potential for this afternoon and early evening.

Minor flooding will continue along the Mississippi River below
Aitkin, including Brainerd and Fort Ripley. In Wisconsin, parts of
Sawyer county will be affected be minor flooding. Water levels
should slowly fall through Friday. Please refer to the latest
river Flood Warning and Flood Statements for these areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Minor flooding will continue along the Mississippi River below
Aitkin, including Brainerd and Fort Ripley.


Skywarn Spotter activation will not be needed tonight.

Northeast Minnesota is approaching critical fire weather
conditions with low relative humidities and gusty winds. Please
refrain from burning until conditions improve which should occur
after 8 pm Thursday.
