Snow will move across the area tonight into Wednesday, bringing a dusting to around 2 inches of snow to much of the area, lowest amounts over southern areas and higher far north. Even higher snowfall amounts, around 4 inches, are possible along coastal Cook County and a Winter Weather Advisory has been issued there through 8 AM for the snow and gusty winds causing blowing and drifting. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Light lake effect snow is possible along the South Shore Wednesday into Wednesday night.
