Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

Very cold temperatures and wind chills are expected again tonight
with Extreme Cold Warnings and Cold Weather Advisories in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Very cold temperatures and wind chills persist Wednesday morning
with Extreme Cold Warnings and Cold Weather Advisories in effect
until 9 AM.

Light snow Wednesday into Wednesday night is expected to bring
accumulations of 1 to 3 inches for the Arrowhead, Iron Range and
along the South Shore.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotter activation will not be needed this afternoon or
tonight.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO
9 AM CST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 40 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Northern Aitkin, Koochiching, Itasca, Carlton, St. Louis
  Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands of the Mille Lacs Band,
  Big Sandy Lake area, the Fond du Lac Band and the Bois Forte Band,
  Deer Creek, Nett Lake and, Lake Vermilion areas. Other locations
  including Voyageurs National Park. This also includes the Boundary
  Waters western area.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 9 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 40 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must go outside, dress in layers including a hat, face mask,
and gloves.
