This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread accumulating snowfall will occur today into tonight.
The snow will spread south to north this morning into the
afternoon. A total of 2 to 5 inches of snow fall across most areas,
with a period of heavy snowfall rates at times this afternoon and
evening. Locally higher amounts are possible along the higher
elevations of the North Shore. Snow will end west to east tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A strong storm will affect the Northland Thursday into Friday. Another
round of accumulating snow will occur, most likely over portions
of northern Minnesota. A wintry mix will also be possible in
spots. Significant snowfall amounts will be possible, especially
over far northern. There is still uncertainty regarding the track
of the storm and how far north the warm air will get and these
will play a role in how much snow will fall. A few thunderstorms
are possible in northwest Wisconsin on Thursday, too.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
to the National Weather Service.
