This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Additional light snow expected towards the head of Lake Superior.
Lake effect snow along the South Shore is expected to begin
today, continuing through the weekend. Additional accumulations of
1 to 6 inches are possible, with the greatest amounts in the
higher terrain. Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for
Douglas, Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron Counties.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Accumulating lake effect snow lingers along the South Shore
through this weekend into early next week.

Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are expected Monday
morning through mid next week. An Extreme Cold Watch has been
issued for portions of north-central Minnesota where the chance
of reaching wind chills of 40 degrees below zero is highest for
Monday morning. Additional cold weather headlines will likely be
needed across the Northland.

Snow spotters are requested to report their snowfall measurements
today and tonight to the National Weather Service.
