This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for west central Minnesota,
central South Dakota, north central South Dakota and northeast
South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

If storms can initiate by early to mid afternoon, supercells and all
forms of severe weather are possible. That said, the probability of
afternoon storm development is low due to a capped atmosphere. The
better probability, however, is that storms get going later this
evening into the overnight hours. While storms may still be severe,
the focus will be more of a wind and hail threat.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

The severe thunderstorm threat continues into Monday. A narrow
timeframe of a very significant severe weather environment exits
through mid-afternoon Monday. Supercells and all forms of severe
weather are possible. The severe threat diminishes quickly Monday

Spotter activation will be needed today and Monday. Weather spotters
are encouraged to submit reports to the National Weather Service in
Aberdeen. The public can submit reports on our web page, Facebook
page, or our Twitter feed.
