Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 42 degrees below zero are
expected overnight. An Extreme Cold Warning is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Bitter cold continues through Friday morning. Wind chills will
drop to between 20 to 30 degrees below zero Thursday morning,
followed by wind chills as low as 15 to 25 degrees below zero
Friday morning.

* WHAT...Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 42 below.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central,
  southwest, and west central Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 42 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 10 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills
inside.
