...WINTRY PRECIPITATION, MAINLY AS LIGHT SNOW BUT POSSIBLY MIXED WITH
FREEZING RAIN, WILL CONTINUE SHIFTING EAST OVER SOUTHERN AND EASTERN
MINNESOTA THROUGH SUNRISE...

.The overall swath of wintry precipitation, mainly as light snow,
continues to shift east across central through southern Minnesota
early this morning. The precipitation will continue through sunrise
for southern and eastern Minnesota, producing a few tenths of an inch
of snow and possibly a glazing of ice.

Slick travel conditions are resulting from this wintry precipitation,
and will persist through the rest of the overnight hours within the
Advisory area.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST EARLY
THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Freezing rain and snow expected. Additional snow
  accumulations of a few tenths of an inch with a light glazing of
  ice possible.

* WHERE...Benton, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Morrison, Renville, Stearns,
  Todd, and Redwood Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST early this morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely
  become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Call 5 1 1 or visit
511mn.org for road conditions.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Rain will redevelop and transition to freezing rain across west-
central Minnesota this evening. This transition will spread
eastward overnight with snow and light freezing rain expected
into eastern Minnesota and far-western Wisconsin by early morning
Saturday. Slick roads and surfaces are expected from early
afternoon into Saturday morning across western and central
Minnesota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

A few lingering snow showers are possible in eastern Minnesota
and western Wisconsin Saturday morning. Little to no overall
accumulation is expected.

A few rounds of rain and snow showers are possible starting
Tuesday and continuing into later next week.
