This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central and
southern Minnesota, and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The forecast of continued hot, dry, and breezy conditions has
prompted a Red Flag Warning across central and southern Minnesota
through this evening. Elevated fire weather conditions will
persist across eastern Minnesota tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A few rounds of showers and thunderstorms are forecast starting
Wednesday night into Thursday morning, and then again Thursday
afternoon into Friday morning.

A few storms may be strong to severe, especially Thursday
afternoon and evening. Damaging winds and large hail are the
primary threats.

...CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS EXPECTED TODAY...

The combination of hot temperatures in the 80s to lower 90s, very
low relative humidity values between 15 to 25 percent, and gusty
winds will work in tandem with dry fuels to create critical fire
weather conditions today. Fires can quickly spread out of control
in these conditions.

9 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR CENTRAL
AND SOUTHWESTERN MINNESOTA...

* WIND...South to southwest winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts up
  to 30 mph.

* HUMIDITY...As low as 15 percent.

* IMPACTS...Any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
  Outdoor burning is not recommended.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
