Thunderstorms with heavy rain will cause minor flooding in the following counties... Hennepin...Dakota...Scott...Washington...Ramsey... * Until 615 AM CDT. * At 107 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain of 1 to 2 inches per hour ongoing in the highlighted area. Up to three inches of rain has fallen over portions of the southeast twin Cities metro this evening, and an additional 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected overnight. This will cause areas of minor street flooding and small streams over the next few hours. * Some locations that will experience minor flooding include... Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Eagan, Woodbury, Eden Prairie, Burnsville, Lakeville, Apple Valley, Edina, Maplewood, and Shakopee. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
