This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Iowa...southeast Minnesota...central Wisconsin...north central
Wisconsin and west central Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A winter storm will bring heavy, wet snow and strong north winds
gusting from 35 to 55 mph. A Blizzard Warning is in effect west of
the Mississippi River and Winter Storm Warning east of the
Mississippi River through this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...IMPACTFUL WINTER STORM TODAY AND THIS EVENING...

.A narrow band of heavy, wet snow and very strong winds will
accompany a late winter storm today and this evening. Snow totals
will likely range from 4 to 8 inches. There may be some isolated
higher totals. In addition to the snow, strong north winds will gust
from 35 to 55 mph. When coupled with the heaviest snow rates this
afternoon, white out and blizzard conditions will be possible.

...BLIZZARD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM THIS MORNING TO 10 PM
CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
  between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of north central Iowa and southeast Minnesota.

* WHEN...From 7 AM this morning to 10 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty
  winds could bring down tree branches.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel,
