Heat indices in the mid to upper 90s are expected across west central and southwest Minnesota this afternoon and early evening. Gusty winds of 25 to 40 mph will also occur later this afternoon, and continuing into the evening. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible along the Buffalo Ridge. Thunderstorms will be possible later tonight. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms north of a line from Redwood Falls, to St. Cloud and Mora Minnesota. The main hazards will be large hail and damaging winds. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Thunderstorms are possible Thursday. There is a marginal risk of severe thunderstorms for mainly south central and east central Minnesota, and adjacent west central Wisconsin. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
