...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Northwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and northeast Kansas and north
  central, northeast, northwest, and west central Missouri.

* WHEN...Until 10 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.
  Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult,
  especially for high profile vehicles.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

 Several hazards are in effect for today. A high wind warning is in
effect for areas along and north of a Kirksville to Olathe line for
possible wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph. South of that line a wind
advisory is in effect for wind gusts 40 to 50 mph. A red flag warning
is in effect from late this morning through mid afternoon for areas
along and east of Highway 63. Lastly, a winter weather advisory is in
effect for northwest Missouri where 1 to 2 inches of snow is
possible and areas of reduced visibilities due to blowing snow may
occur.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday
