Widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... A high wind warning is in effect for areas along and north of a Kirksville to Olathe line for possible wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph. South of that line a wind advisory is in effect for wind gusts 40 to 50 mph. A red flag warning is in effect from late this morning through mid afternoon for areas along and east of Highway 63.
