This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive heat risk.


An isolated thunderstorm will be possible late tonight across the
eastern ozarks. Most areas will remain dry. Severe weather is not

Heat index values in the middle to upper 90s will continue along
and west of highway 65 this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Heat index values of 100 to 105 will be possible on Thursday and
Friday across the area.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible Thursday through the
weekend across central Missouri, but most locations will remain

A better chance of thunderstorms will arrive Sunday night into
Monday night as a stronger system moves into the area.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
