This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive heat risk.

DISCUSSION...

  Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon
  generally from the Lake of the Ozarks region through the
  eastern Ozarks. Cloud to ground lightning will be the main
  potential hazard.

  Afternoon heat indices will again warm into the middle to
  upper 90s.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

  Afternoon heat index values will range from the mid to
  upper 90s on Wednesday and Thursday.

  Isolated thunderstorms will remain possible during the
  afternoon hours Wednesday and Thursday.

  Increasing chances of thunderstorms will begin on Friday
  and continue through the weekend. Isolated flooding will be
  possible late in the weekend if repeated development of storms
  occurs.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
