This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited excessive rainfall risk

DISCUSSION...

Showers and storms are ongoing this morning but are sub-severe
with only the threat of lightning and localized flooding. Another
round of storms will be moving through later this morning as they
make their way in from Kansas. This system will be strongest west
of Highway 65 and will decay as it moves east, but is expected to
remain sub-severe.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Off and on chances for thunderstorms exist through the middle of
next week. Severe thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday
evening into Saturday night, mainly west of a Cassville to
Springfield to Osage Beach line.

Locally heavy rainfall will occur with the strongest
thunderstorms through this weekend and may produce some localized
flooding, however widespread flooding is not expected at this
time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
