Weather hazards expected... Limited lightning risk. Limited non thunderstorm wind risk. DISCUSSION... Some wind gusts of 25 to 40 mph will be possible through tonight across the area. A few thunderstorms will be possible over central Missouri late tonight as the cold front begins to slide southeast into the area. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Monday. A slow moving frontal system and quite a bit of moisture will bring heavy rainfall to the area Thursday afternoon through Friday evening. The heaviest rainfall looks to be along and southeast of the I-44 corridor where widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain is likely and localized amounts of 4 to 6 inches is possible. This excessive rainfall could lead to flooding and flash flooding. Along with the excessive rain and flooding potential, some marginally severe storms will be possible with hail to the size of quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
