This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Some wind gusts of 25 to 40 mph will be possible through tonight
 across the area.

A few thunderstorms will be possible over central Missouri late
tonight as the cold front begins to slide southeast into the
  area.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Monday.

A slow moving frontal system and quite a bit of moisture will
bring heavy rainfall to the area Thursday afternoon through
  Friday evening.

The heaviest rainfall looks to be along and southeast of the
I-44 corridor where widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain is likely
and localized amounts of 4 to 6 inches is possible. This
excessive rainfall could lead to flooding and flash flooding.

Along with the excessive rain and flooding potential, some
marginally severe storms will be possible with hail to the size
of quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
