Weather hazards expected... Slight tornado risk. Slight hail risk. Slight thunderstorm wind damage risk. Elevated lightning risk. Limited excessive rainfall risk Limited non thunderstorm wind risk. DISCUSSION... Southerly winds will continue to bring gusts of 25 to 35 mph to the area through the day. Potential for strong to severe thunderstorms increase into the overnight hours, mainly after 3 AM northwest of I-44. The main hazards more any storm that becomes severe will be hail up to quarters and wind gusts up to 60 mph, though a tornado cannot be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. Additional strong to severe thunderstorm chances linger through Tuesday and Wednesday, with large hail and damaging winds the primary concern storms.
