This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited ice accumulation risk.
  Limited snow and sleet risk.

DISCUSSION...

Periods of freezing drizzle will occur at times the rest of this
evening into tonight, resulting in a glaze of ice. This ice could
cause slick conditions especially along and north of the Highway
54 corridor. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in affect through
tonight for much of southwestern and south- central Missouri and
extreme southeastern Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9 PM Wednesday
night. Snow is most likely along and north of the Highway 54
corridor, bringing at least minor travel impacts to this area.
Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches can be expected in west central
Missouri. Around the I-44 and Highway 60 corridors, a wintry mix
including ice, sleet, snow, and rain will be possible. 1 to 2
inches of snow and sleet possible and a glaze to a tenth of an
inch of ice. This activity will develop and impact the morning
commute across the area Wednesday morning. Some freezing drizzle
will also be possible mainly along and north of Highway 60 at
times Wednesday afternoon.

Another storm system may then bring light snow to the region
next weekend. However, confidence in details is low at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
