This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited lightning risk.


Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible this
afternoon and evening, mainly east of Highway 65. Severe weather
is not expected and most locations will remain dry.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Heat index values will reach the middle to upper 90s Monday
afternoon across southeast Kansas and western Missouri.

A cold front will bring higher chances for showers and
thunderstorms to the area Monday night. An isolated strong storm
or two could be possible, with gusty winds the main risk.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
