This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.


Gusty westerly winds will gusts up to 30 mph today, especially
across central Missouri. A dry air mass will also be in place and
when combined with the gusty winds will lead to an elevated fire
weather risk this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Rain enters the region late Monday into Tuesday, with a concern
for minor flooding of flood prone areas.

A few thunderstorms may be possible on Thursday.


  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
