This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Windy conditions will continue the rest of the afternoon into this
evening then will gradually decrease overnight. The highest winds
will occur for areas from Springfield west into eastern Kansas
with gusts of 30 to 40 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Though winds will decrease Wednesday, an incoming dry airmass will
introduce elevated fire weather conditions for Wednesday. Winds
will increase with gusts up to 25 to 35 mph at times on Thursday.
The warm and dry air mass will also remain in place leading to
elevated to significant fire risk on Thursday afternoon.
