This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

Significant Freeze risk.
Limited ice accumulation risk.
Limited sleet risk.
Limited Lightning Risk


A storm system will continue to bring rain and even some
thunderstorms to extreme southeast Kansas and the Missouri Ozarks
today. There is a limited risk of some sleet over areas along and
north of a line from Girard Kansas to Versailles Missouri. No
impacts from this sleet are expected today.

Freezing drizzle will be possible tonight as temperatures hover
around the freezing mark. Some locations could dip below freezing,
allowing for a glaze of ice on elevated objects for areas north of
Interstate 44.

As temperatures cool below freezing tonight, some locations could
experience a freeze.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Additional rain and even some mixed precipitation will be possible
on Tuesday. A third round of showers and even some thunderstorms
will is likely on Wednesday into early Thursday. Storm total
precipitation through Thursday could range from 2 to 3.5 inches.


  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
