Flood Watch

Flood Watch
National Weather Service Springfield MO
254 AM CST Sat Feb 22 2020

...FLOODING IS LIKELY SUNDAY INTO MONDAY..

.A very strong storm system will approach the Ozarks Region Sunday
into Monday. This feature will interact with Gulf moisture to
produce widespread rainfall amounts ranging from 1 to 2 inches.

Given the wet soil conditions, elevated streamflows, and lack of
vegetation in the winter, flooding of small streams, creeks, and
rivers are likely across much of the region.

Low water crossings and low lying roads that are sensitive to
flooding will be the most likely locations to experience flooding
Sunday into Monday.
