...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM WEDNESDAY TO MIDNIGHT MDT
WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a Red Flag
Warning...which is in effect from 11 AM Wednesday to midnight MDT
Wednesday night. The Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

* IMPACTS: Low humidities, hot temperatures, strong gusty winds,
  and isolated thunderstorms will create erratic fire behavior and
  could start new fires.

* AFFECTED AREA:
   In South Central MT...Fire Weather Zone 123.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
   In South Central MT...Park...Sweet Grass.
   In Southwest MT...Gallatin.

* WIND: Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY: Minimums of 15-20 percent.

* THUNDERSTORMS: Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms could
  produce erratic wind gusts. Rainfall will be spotty and light.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the 70s and 80s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are
either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can contribute
to extreme fire behavior.
