...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of east central
Garfield, southern McCone and central Dawson Counties through 245 AM
MDT
...

At 145 AM MDT, the public reported strong thunderstorms along a line
extending from 6 miles west of Bloomfield to 8 miles northeast of
Flowing Wells Rest Area. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Penny size hail.

SOURCE...Public.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Circle, Nelson Creek Rec Area, Brockway, Bloomfield, Flowing Wells
Rest Area, and Watkins.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

PM MDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Northeast winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph
  expected.

* WHERE...Central and Southeast Phillips, Central and Southern
  Valley, Garfield, McCone, and Petroleum Counties.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds and rough waves on area lakes will create
  hazardous conditions for small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Waves up to 4 feet are expected on Fort Peck
  Lake tonight and Tuesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters on Fort Peck Lake should use extra caution since strong
winds and rough waves can overturn small craft.
