...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM FRIDAY TO NOON MDT
SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 8000 feet. Total snow accumulations
  of 4 to 8 inches expected. Localized heavier amounts possible on
  the highest peaks.

* WHERE...Beartooth Pass and the Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 AM Friday to noon MDT Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult or
  impossible. Travelers on the Beartooth Pass should be prepared
  for rapidly changing weather conditions. Also, backcountry
  activities could be impacted by heavy snow and low visibility.
  Those with outdoor interests are encouraged to plan for winter
  weather.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads
and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central
Montana.

* WHAT...Heavy snowfall.

* WHERE...Beartooth Highway and the Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...Friday through Saturday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow is expected at levels 8 thousand
  feet and above. As much as 5 to 10 inches of new snow can be
  expected over the highest peaks. The period of heaviest snow
  looks to be Friday and Friday night.

* ADDITIONAL HAZARD CONCERNS...The Beartooth Pass will be impacted
  by accumulating snow, making travel very difficult to nearly
  impossible. Those with plans in the mountains, with possible
  travel plans up the Beartooth Pass, are encouraged to monitor the
  forecast closely, and be prepared for winter weather.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Hazardous Weather Outlook is issued when hazardous weather could
impact the region within the next week. Be sure to stay tuned for
future updates as locations, timing, and impacts could change.
Begin preparations to mitigate any impacts that could result from
the hazardous weather.
