This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest North Carolina,
southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A strong weather system is expected to move through the region
Sunday night through Tuesday. This system has the potential to bring
multiple weather threats to the region. First, on the warm side of
this system Sunday night into Monday morning heavy rainfall and gusty
winds could lead to localized flooding as well as downed trees and
power lines. Then, as the system moves to the northeast of the area
and cold air rushes into the area from the west there will be a
threat for accumulating snow showers along with continued strong and
gusty winds.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed for flooding and wind damage reports
Sunday night and Monday, then for wind damage and snow reports Monday
night and Tuesday.
