This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north central North Carolina,
northwest North Carolina, central Virginia, south central Virginia,
southwest Virginia, west central Virginia and southeast West

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible today, especially during
the afternoon and evening. The primary threat is damaging wind.

Locally heavy rain is also likely in any of the strong, slow moving
storms. This may result in flooding.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms on Friday with the
main threat being damaging wind.

Thursday through Friday locally heavy rain is possible, which may
result in flooding.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
