This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Scattered severe thunderstorms will occur this afternoon through
early evening across central NC. The main severe weather hazards will
be damaging straightline wind gusts, hail up to the size of golf
balls, and frequent cloud-to-ground ligthning strikes. The severe
weather threat will be greatest between 3 PM and 9 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will be needed between 3 PM and 9 PM.
