This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Numerous to widespread showers and storms will produce pockets of
heavy rain this afternoon and into tonight. This will lead to a risk
of scattered flash flooding, especially in urban and poor drainage
areas.

Isolated strong to severe storms are also possible this afternoon and
this evening. Damaging wind gusts capable of knocking down trees and
power-lines are possible.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Very moist air will remain in place through Friday. Numerous showers
and thunderstorms are expected to develop each day, resulting in a
threat scattered flash flooding Wednesday through Friday, especially
during the afternoon and evening.
