...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EDT TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 to 45 mph
  are expected.

* WHERE...All of Central North Carolina.

* WHEN...Through midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

TONIGHT...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Please listen to NOAA Weather Radio or go to weather.gov on the
Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Wind Advisory.

Frequent gusts as high as 35 to 45 mph are expected today. In
addition, a few strong to severe storms are possible today from late
morning through mid afternoon, particularly in areas along and east
of Highway 1. Damaging straight line winds over 60 mph and isolated
tornadoes are the primary threats.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

Weather spotters are encouraged to report significant weather
conditions to the National Weather Service in Raleigh.
