Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and into the overnight hours. A few storms may become strong to severe with damaging winds and large hail possible. An isolated tornado is also possible. Additionally, hot temperatures and high humidity are expected today, with heat index values peaking in the lower to mid 90s, leading to an elevated risk of heat-related illnesses. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. The threat for severe storms is expected to persist into Thursday as a series of disturbances track through the region. Damaging winds and large hail are possible. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
