This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills are expected early
next week. A prolonged period of sub-freezing temperatures is
possible across portions of central NC Monday through the middle
part of next week.

While there is still uncertainty with the track of the storm system,
forecast confidence is increasing that a winter storm will impact
central NC Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday. The most likely
predominate precipitation type will be snow, with the highest amounts
expected across portions of eastern NC.
