This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Scattered showers and storms are expected to develop from this
afternoon into tonight. In addition to a threat of locally heavy
rainfall, isolated damaging winds will be possible with any storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

An active pattern will continue through the end of the workweek with
isolated strong to severe storms and flooding possible each
afternoon. Numerous to widespread showers and storms Thursday
and Friday may result in isolated to scattered flash flooding, which
will be most probable in urban areas as well as the more hydrologic
sensitive areas in the eastern Piedmont where the heaviest rainfall
from Chantal occurred on Sunday.
