.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A cold front approaches the area overnight and brings a line of
storms into the NC mountains before sunrise. Some of these storms
could become severe with damaging winds as the main threat. Localized
flooding could be an issue where heavy rainfall occurs. Though the
threat is low, an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible Monday
with a few strong to severe east of the NC mountains. Main threats
will be strong gusty winds, cloud-to-ground lightning and hail.

Spotters are requested to forward any reports of large hail,
damaging winds, tornadoes, or flash flooding to our office.
